Ryan Neil Conklin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As a boy he was full of imagination, and he would be the first to tell you that he flew a jet plane for the Navy, worked for the highway patrol, Chips Division, and had a girlfriend in the telephone pole up the street who he visited while patrolling on his Big Wheel, police car. He was quite busy saving the world.

Besides harnessing the power of a vivid imagination, he spent his early years completely engulfed in sports such as baseball, soccer, and the two main attractions, ice hockey and surfing. Ryan played hockey all over Southern California and in international tournaments in and against countries like Canada and Sweden. As an avid surfer for more than half his life, he has surfed all over California, as well as many amazing places around the globe.

To keep things interesting, Ryan started a company out of a garage selling products to make and repair surfboards at the age of 19. It quickly went international with an expanded product line and became a leader in the industry. Being a CEO, CFO, marketing director, shipper, janitor, logistics operator, sales rep manager, and other positions during the growth of the business, he earned a degree the hard way and gained valuable experience in business as well as in life.

Not to limit his horizons, Ryan found time to pursue a modeling career which landed him in New York and then on to Europe.

With that endless imagination and having parents in the entertainment industry, both in front of and behind the camera, it was only a natural progression for Ryan to find interest in acting and filmmaking. While he showed great interest in it at a young age, his mother kept the acting world on the same shelf as that of that out of reach cookie jar. Her thought was first grow up and if you still want to do it when you are older, know the risks, and take the leap.

He took the leap.

Since doing so, Ryan has done film, theater and commercials in the U.S., as well as in Europe, and now splits his time between New York and Los Angeles pursuing both his modeling and acting careers.
